This blog is dedicated to setting standards of the new Voice Over Industry by exposing those site that are taking advantage of voice over artists by underpaying them and requiring them to accept unfair contractual terms. This Site is administered by Actor/Voice Over Artist and Attorney, Rob Sciglimpaglia, Jr..
Thank you, Rob.
I am so glad you have that “free time” as voicejockeys so eloquently put it in their response, to help look after the VO community. I’m sure you’ll be kept busy enough, but you might want to check out Taji’s Voice Emporium’s Scam Alert for all kinds of bad guys http://www.voiceemporium.com/scam-alert/
Thanks again.

Doug. Thank you very much for the tip. I am aware of Taji’s Scam Alert, and I am very thankful of him for starting it. I just want to make one point however.
The purpose of THIS site is not necessarily to call anyone scamsters. It is to point out websites that we, as a COMMUNITY believe are underpaying us, or otherwise treating us badly with unfair contractual terms. The sites may be legitimate businesses, but are just undervaluing what we do and the skills that go into them. I am not really here to “judge” anyone or any company. I can only give my opinion as to what I believe is fair and equitable.
Thanks for sharing!
Rob
You’re right Rob what you have on your site is quite different to what I have on mine but I think they serve the same purpose which is to improve the overall state of the Voiceover Industry.
Where our ideologies also meet is in the fact that we don’t want VO artists to get ripped off… whether through underpaying sites or through outright scammers like the guys I have listed.
Keep up the good work,
Taji
They do serve the same purpose, but I definitely don’t want to step on your toes. You keep up the good work as well!
Rob
